Crown Bioscience is a CRO specializing in translational oncology and immuno-oncology drug discovery and development, with a global specialty biomarker laboratory for clinical trials. • Discover and validate PD, surrogate, predictive, and translational biomarkers that differentiate responders from non-responders, from exploratory research through clinical validation.
• Run bioanalytical assays for small and large molecules and support clinical-trial biomarker testing through assay development, sample analysis, data interpretation, and global logistics.

Discovery, DMPK, and Safety Studies

• Support discovery programs with target validation, mechanism-of-action studies, assay development and optimization, high-throughput and phenotypic screening (MuScreen in vivo screens and OmniScreen in vitro cell line screens), antibody discovery, protein engineering, cell therapy evaluation, and CRISPR gene editing.
• Evaluate drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, ADME, in vitro metabolic stability, PK/PD, preclinical formulation selection, safety pharmacology, and general animal toxicology.

Clinical and Molecular Laboratory Services

• Coordinate clinical-trial sample processing with chain of custody from patient sample to final data report, including multi-site coordination and global logistics.
• Provide clinical biomarker laboratory services in RUO or regulated environments, including CAP-, CLIA-, and ISO 15189-accredited laboratories, plus genomics, microbiome sequencing (full-length 16S rRNA, shotgun metagenomic and metatranscriptomic), transcriptomics, proteomics, pathology review, digital pathology, and companion diagnostic development limited to the Japanese market.
